Abdulaziz Alobaidli has rejoined Masdar as the Chief Operating Masdar to oversee the delivery and operations of its renewable portfolio, as well as Engineering, Supply Chain, and Energy Services. Prior to that, he worked for TAQA since 2018 leadings its domestic Power and Water generation business, including a portfolio of capacity of 22.4 gigawatts and 1120 million imperial gallons per day.
With over 16 years’ experience in the energy and utilities business, including renewables, Abdulaziz set at the boards of directors of several generation and water desalination companies across the UAE and in the Middle East.
Abdulaziz pursed his interest in renewables in 2008, serving the renewables sector in different roles where he got associated with different landmark projects such as the Shams 1 CSP project, Noor Abu Dhabi PV project and recently Al Dhafra PV project.
Abdulaziz earned an M.Sc in Energy Engineering (specializing in power plant technology) from RWTH Aachen University in Germany and a B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from UAE University. He also received the Emirates Energy Award in 2013 and was a member of the Zayed Future Energy Prize Review Committee.

Musabah Obaid Al Muhairi has over 17 years of finance and investment experience.
He started his career with the Abu Dhabi Pension Fund in late 2004 as an analyst and worked in various departments and divisions including the Pension’s Contribution Department and Finance Division. In 2009, he was nominated internally and moved to the Investment Department to establish their business investment policies and procedures strategy.
Musabah is currently serving as portfolio manager for the Private Real Assets Division. He has a key role in making investment recommendations and managing Global Private Funds, Co-investments and Direct local transactions for the Internal Investment Committee and Investment Committee. He has experience and knowledge of working with Investment Implementation and supporting back-office teams such as Risk, Legal and Tax. He monitors the investment portfolio, reporting to the ADPF Senior Investment Management Team.
Musabah holds a dual bachelor’s degree in finance and Trading from Higher Colleges of Technology “ HCT” – 2001. He has also completed professional development programs with investment institutions such as Morgan Stanley Investment Management Institute “MSIM,” Hamilton Lane University, Brookfield Academy, Black Rock Education Academy, and the Institutional Limited Partners Association “ILPA” Institute.
He completed multiple courses at the Abu Dhabi School of Government “ADSG” and passed through the selection process and nominated to go for 6-month scholarship program with Oliver Wayman Financial services.
Musabah has also been a Certified Social Insurance Diploma member since 2013 and holds the Developing & Implementing Policy for Public Value certificate from Harvard Kennedy School.
Musabah has been serving and supporting the operation committee of Shams Power Company PJSC since 2017. He is a board member for Shams as well as other subsidiary holding companies related to the Abu Dhabi Pension Fund.

Mohamed Al Fardan is the General Manager, Northern Emirates, for Masdar Clean Energy. He is responsible for Masdar’s clean energy assets and projects in the assigned geography and contributes to new business development and investment as required by the organization. In addition, he represents Masdar on the boards or advisory committees of Masdar subsidiaries in the area.
Mohamed is also Chief Executive Office for Shuaa Energy 2, the joint venture between DEWA, Masdar and EDF responsible for the development and management of the 800-megawatt (MW) third phase of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, where he oversees implementation of the company’s current and future strategic and operational plans.
Before joining Masdar Clean Energy, Mohamed was Director of Masdar Free Zone, where he was responsible for spearheading the overall growth and direction of the Free Zone’s initiatives and strategic partnerships within the City, including the improvement and implementation of Free Zone systems, policies and procedures in accordance with regulations and external authority mandates.
Mohamed is an engineer with more than 22 years’ experience in strategic planning, team management, business development, renewable energy and energy efficiency, assets management, and delivery of large-scale Masdar City projects.
Before joining Masdar, Mohamed worked at Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) where he oversaw operations and management of all key stakeholder relationships, as well as seeing new developments from inception through to completion. He began his career in 2000, as a Process Section Leader in Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).
Mohamed holds a Bachelor of Engineering Science (Honors) from Arizona State University, and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Wollongong, Australia.

Mrs. Badour Al Qubaisi is a manager in the asset management department at Masdar, Abu Dhabi’s renewable energy company. In her current role, she oversees local and international Masdar assets.
Badour is a board member in Shams Power Plant, one of the largest CSP plant in the world and the first of its kind in the Middle East. Also she is a board member in Al Dhafrah PV2 the world’s largest solar project, 2 Gigawatt solar project in Abu Dhabi.
Badour started her career in Mubadala in 2006 before joining Masdar. She had experienced different industries such as Aerospace, healthcare and logistics. Badour hold Bachelors of Sciences in Information Systems and an MBA from Zayed University.
Prior joining the work force Badour was involved in the Orientation Training in the United Nations System in Geneva, Switzerland Organized by UNITAR, Zayed University and UNDP in 2005. Also attended Women as global leadership Conference for 2006 and Abu Dhabi World Leadership Summit 2005.
