Shams Power Company has developed the first innovation centre dedicated to promoting Abu Dhabi and the United Arab Emirates’ renewable energy achievements.
The centre’s vision is to become a regional hub for renewable energy knowledge, and to inspire and motivate young generations to become active leaders in the transition to a more sustainable future.

About Innovation Centre
Al Dhafra Innovation Centre provides tourists, students, researchers, government representatives, companies and communities with information on Shams, renewable energy, sustainable development, and the UAE’s clean energy projects.
The centre will have nine educational zones and an outdoor exhibition area. Each section will include interactive models, videos and materials.
